Quality Control

worker3.jpg

Barlovento's Quality Control is a management system for producing construction that complies with the terms and conditions of the contract requirements. It encompasses all phases of the work, such as approval of submittals, procurement, storage of materials and equipment, coordination of subcontractor's activities and the inspections and tests required to ensure that specified materials are used and installed in an acceptable manner to produce the required end product.

For any Quality Control program to be effective there must be a planned program of actions and lines of authority and responsibilities must be established. It becomes necessary to analyze, develop and document how the designated Quality Control Representatives (QCR) will manage and control all construction operations.

Barlovento's Quality Control Program is geared to fit these requirements for both the client and Barlovento.

Barlovento's proven Quality Control Approach has been developed and refined through years of successful performance on projects. It is the policy of Barlovento to clearly define and meet quality requirements throughout all activities and to actively promote continuous improvement in every aspect of our business. Our policy is put into effect through a formal Quality Control Program. All of our CQC Managers have completed the USACE training course for Construction Quality Management for Contractors.

Through effective quality control, Barlovento can instill employee pride in their work, continue its reputation and recognition for quality work, ensure that construction is performed according to plans and specifications, completed on time, safely and within budget.
